After seven years, hickory trees naturally begin to shed their bark. Traditionally used for smoking, this savory wood lends a mildly smoky, nutty flavor and unique profile to this delicious syrup. Enjoy it on pancakes, granola or in any of your favorite maple recipes. Also great on meat and in marinades.
